5 Games To Look Forward To In March

After a lukewarm start to 2018, some major titles look to warm up the coming month!

With so many games scheduled to release this year, it's going to be a tall order to keep up. Fret not! IGN SEA is here to supply you with a curated list of games that you should be looking out for in March.

1. Final Fantasy XV (PC)

Release Date: Monday, March 7, 2018
Platform: Steam (PC)

Final Fantasy fans will finally get the chance to experience FFXV on the PC which includes support for high-resolution displays, Dolby Atmos support and a first person camera mode.

Follows Prince Noctis and his friends as he embarks on a journey to reclaim his kingdom that has been invaded by the empire of Niflheim. Along the way, he'll discover the power of Light that only his lineage can wield to defeat the powers of darkness.

2. Sea Of Thieves

Release Date: Tuesday, March 20, 2018
Platform: Xbox One, PC

Sea Of Thieves will make your inner pirate jump for joy. This pirate themed open world, multiplayer title will have you and your friends embark on various naval quests such as hunting for buried treasure and taking on enemy pirate ships with your own vessels. Players will assume different roles on deck such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, firing cannons and other tasks.

3. A Way Out

Release Date: Friday, March 23, 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Origin (PC)

You and a friend will get to watch and directly impact the lives of both Leo and Vincent in the thrilling action adventure game, A Way Out. Made with an emphasis on co-operative play, it is highly recommended to experience this exciting and emotional journey along with a friend beside you or online, so much so that the developers are giving out a free trial pass for every copy of the game.

4. Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

Release Date: Friday, March 23, 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Steam (PC)

The sequel to the Ghibli-esque JRPG, returns with a new cast of characters and story. Taking place in the same magical world, many years have passed since the first game and much has changed. The story begins with the arrival of a mysterious man into the realm, who bumps into Even Pettiwhisker, a young king stripped of his kingdom. They then journey together to regain his kingdom and meet up with many colorful characters and villains along the way.

5. Far Cry 5

Release Date: Tuesday, March 27, 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam (PC)

Far Cry 5 puts players in the middle of a war between an uprising cult and a rag tag group of resistance fighters in the sunny fields of modern day Montana, USA. The gorgeous open world will feature plenty of places to explore and enemies to combat both with an online friend as well as a canine companion.

Attack On Titan 2

Release Date: Mid/Late March, 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam (PC), PS VITA, Nintendo Switch

Based on the highly acclaimed manga and anime from Hajime Isayama, Attack On Titan 2 is a continuation of the first game (A.O.T Wings Of Freedom) that follows Eren Yeager and his team of specialized soldiers that fight off lumbering Titans from destroying their home and humanity. Armed with dual blades and a unique vertical maneuvering equipment, players will be running on walls, boosting through the air and slicing at Titans in this action packed game.

Agony

Release Date: Friday, March 30, 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam (PC)

Agony is an upcoming horror survival game that puts players in a first person perspective of a special Martyr travelling through the many levels of Hell. Unlike other souls doomed to Hell, the player's Martry has the ability to possess others like him to gain access to special abilities needed to defeat certain obstacles like lesser demons or solve puzzles strewn throughout the level.
