Moonton today announced that members of the public will be able to catch the ongoing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia Season 9 in person.

MLBB fans had to be content with watching MPL Malaysia Seasons 7 and 8 from the safety of their own homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic that plagued the country last year.

The tournament will open its doors to the public from March 11 (Regular Season, Week 4) onwards to the end of the Regular Season. Fans of the popular esports league can watch their favourite stars up close at EBN Esports City, Quill City Mall KL from Week 4 (March 11) onwards.

Fans looking to catch the matches may purchase the tickets at Ticket2U. Priced at RM15 per match session, the venue fits up to 50 people, including regular ticket buyers and Team Season Pass (TSP) holders. TSP entitles audiences to watch all team-specific matches from RM80 onwards. Tickets are only available for sale online.

While the number of the Covid-19 cases are still at an all-time high in the country, most residents in Malaysia have received their vaccinations, thanks to the government's nationwide vaccination programme.

MPL Malaysia Season 9 is held in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Malaysia), Youth & Sports Ministry, and Esports Integrated (ESI). It is one of the most-watched Malaysian esports tournaments, with a peak-concurrent viewership high of 137,000, according to Esports Charts.
