Arena Of Valor Launches in Malaysia, Philippines & Singapore

Mobile gamers throughout Malaysia, Philippines & Singapore can rejoice! The hit mobile MOBA title, Arena Of Valor that's been topping the charts for both the App store and Play Store for Taiwan, Vietnam and Indonesia has finally arrived.

Jointly developed by Garena and Tencent Games, Arena of Valor was designed to be especially easy to control on mobile phones. It features several battlefields and game modes which includes 5v5 Grand Battle, Valley Skirmish, Abyssal Clash, Solo Battle, and Hook Wars

Upon release players can choose up to 14 permanent heroes for free, by playing the game's matches, tutorial and along side friends, an additional 14 more heroes can be unlocked. In total over 40 different heroes are expected to fill the roster, with many more in development.

AOV is currently being competed in various levels, from grass roots tournaments of international corporations, professional gaming tournaments by Garena and global tournaments between North America, Europe, Korea, Middle East with grand prizes and honorary titles for the taking.

Taiwan's Garena Challenger series offered a $114,000 prize pool with 50,000 concurrent viewers and Vietnam's Throne Of Glory had a $65,000 prize pool with over 270,000 viewers.

At the time of this article, only one server is active that puts all players from Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore, so be prepared for some busy traffic.
