Asuna Says Family In Ukraine Safe As Full-Scale Russian Invasion Begins
"Crazy what is happening right now."
Professional Valorant player Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk, an American player of Ukrainian descent who currently plays for 100 Thieves, says his family in Ukraine is safe after Russia today launched a full-scale invasion of the country.
"Appreciate all the people msging me about my family. Most of my family members are safe at the moment. Crazy what is happening right now, praying for everyone in Ukraine," Asuna said in a tweet today.

Ukraine media reported rocket attacks on military facilities throughout Ukraine and that Russian troops had landed in the southern port cities of Odessa and Mariupol. It also reported staff and passengers evacuating Kyiv's Boryspil airport.

"Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strikes," said Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in a tweet, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now."
