Clash Royale: CCGS SEA Qualifer Held in Kuala Lumpur
It is the first time SEA Clash Royale players have come together to play at this level.
At a charming little cafe, The Shotlist in Kuala Lumpur, 16 of the best Clash Royale players in Southeast Asia came together to duke it out for a chance to join the regular season. Unlike Vainglory or Mobile Legends events that usually resemble a full blown esports lan, Supercell desired a much smaller and more intimate setting for the qualifier.
The top 4 spots were claimed by
- Huỳnh "Legend" Đức Huy (VN)
- Phạm "Poseidon" Viễn Dương (VN)
-
Đào "Tali" Tiến Long (VN)
-
Hero "Detective Hecka" Mendoza (PH)
The winners will have a chance to push for a place in the Clash Royale Crown Championship, a global esports event hosted by Supercell. Regions include North America, Latin America, Europe, Japan, China, Korea, Southeast Asia (SEA) and Rest of World (ROW). The finals are to be held in London featuring a prize pool of over $1,000,000 USD
Seven players will take part in the SEA playoffs featuring 2 from Taiwan, 1 from Hong Kong/Macau and 4 from the "Other SEA Countries" (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia , Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines)
