Gaming enthusiast, developers and fans in the SEA region - the time is finally here. THE place to be come November is definitely Kuala Lumpur, as the city is set to host both the first ever IMGA SEA as well as Level Up Kuala Lumpur which happens on the same weekend.
An initiative by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), both events are a showcase of the ever growing gaming scene in the region as well as testament that talent is definitely thriving over here.
Details for Level Up KL are as follows:
Date: 8 - 9th October 2016
Location: Intercontinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
Tickets range from US$80 - US$150.
Between the 8th til the 9th of November, expect to witness key individuals from the gaming scene giving talks and seminars, showcases and exhibitions, networking parties as well as award shows acknowledging the burgeoning game development scene right at our doorstep.
Also not to be missed is the first ever Independent Mobile Gaming Awards SEA which will also be held at the same time, showcasing the best of the region's game developers. Recently, the shortlist for the finalist has been announced and from the look of things, a number of very promising titles are in contention.
The public can vote for their People's Choice Winners now at the IMGA SEA website and be part of a historic moment for the rapidly growing industry.
