Lance "Finest" Arcilla, the Filipino gamer who coined the line "Jett revive me" that became an iconic catchphrase and meme among millions of Valorant fans worldwide, has passed away at the age of 21.

Arcilla etched his name in the annals of Valorant history when he uttered the now famous words while playing Omen in a match. After getting killed by an opponent, Arcilla repeatedly said "revive me Jett" despite the agent not having the ability to revive teammates.

A fellow teammate eventually points out that the agent he should be speaking to is Sage, but Arcilla continued humoring his team by pestering Jett to revive him in subsequent rounds. Footage of this game was uploaded by one of his teammates, which has since gone viral on social media.

Arcilla's antics have spawned countless memes and spoofs among the Valorant community. Riot Games even released a spray in Episode 2: Act 2 to immortalize and commemorate this iconic moment.

Arcilla's passing was announced by his friend in the Valorant Philippines Facebook group, but the original post has since been taken down.

Some believed it to be a joke but Arcilla's mother later confirmed his death on social media in a heartwarming tribute to her son, whom she described as a loving person and "guardian angel".

Arcilla's cause of death is unclear as at the time of writing, but it is believed he was facing some health-related issues.
