For those who haven't heard of GigaBash, it is an upcoming 3D brawler game developed by Malaysian studio Passion Republic Games, featuring giant monsters slugging it out at various destructible locations around the world.

These unique giants are inspired by classic monsters who have their own distinct skills and abilities and can be controlled by up to four players per game. It was recently showcased at several international conventions including this year's Tokyo Game Show.

Although the game does not hit the shelves until late next year on PC and console, it has already won multiple titles and accolades. Earlier today, GigaBash added another notch to its belt after winning four awards at this year's SEA Game Awards 2019.

GigaBash won the Best Technology, Best Game Design, Audience Choice Award as well as the Grand Jury Award, making Passion Republic the biggest winners of the night amid stiff competition from other studios across Southeast Asia.

Several other studios snatched awards for the following categories:

  • BEST VISUAL ART: When the Past Was Around by Mojiken Studio
  • BEST AUDIO: VALZ by Klappanome
  • BEST STORYTELLING: DeLight by DreamTree Studio
  • BEST INNOVATION: Retrograde Arena by Freemergence
  • BEST STUDENT GAME: Ano: Journeys Through Tattoos by CtrlD
  • RISING STAR AWARD: Retrograde Arena by Freemergence
