Dear IGN... My controller is 4 years old, as old as my console, and is about to give way thanks to the utter abuse it gets from FIFA 19's EAids (most FIFA players will understand). And with this being my sole controller left alive (the original black died due to FIFA 18's EAids, RIP), priority will need to go to a new controller soon.
Having moved back to Labuan recently, my only option for online gaming now is to tether my connection via mobile, as broadband connection is still as much a wet dream today as it was when I finished SPM 16 years ago. So more now needs to go to sustaining a healthy data package from my mobile provider. Let's not even think about what happens if my phone decides to follow the path of my old controller (again, RIP).
All that being said, I'm pretty happy grinding and grunting away in FIFA Ultimate Team this year, and am having fun using this as a platform to keep in touch with my friends that I've made during my time studying and working in KL over the years.
However I think it's long overdue that I get a proper headset with a mic that doesn't need to have its cable hung over my ear to have it closer to my mouth so that my voice doesn't seem too far for my friends to hear me otherwise.
Imagine that... A 30-something-year-old-guy who lives with his parents, and having the last image they see of their only son before going to bed every night is one where he's screaming into a wire mic that's dangling off his right ear. Think of how a new headset will restore some dignity for them.

This is the condition of my 3 and a half year old HyperX Cloud Headset with its top leather already peeling off and the plastic ear cups all sticky.

It would be awesome to have a Plantronic RIG 500HD headphones as my current one is on the verge to be obsolete and you can see it's not really much when your there in the realm of games that booms and bangs , when I'm just enjoying it on very mere level. I hope my Christmas gaming would be enhanced with the super duper immersive sound from the Plantronics RIG 500HD.
