IGN SEA: Searching For New Host!

We've got big plans for 2018, and as part of that, we're looking for presenters/hosts to join IGN SEA on a full-time basis.

If you're a streamer/producer or pretty much anyone who's brimming with ideas and wants to work in the sort of environment where your ideas can become reality within days rather than months, then we'd like to hear from you.

Whether you've worked in producing for TV, or on social platforms such as YouTube or Facebook, we're interested.

We hope to get equal, if not favourable amount of male and female applicants. Do help to spread the word if you know anyone who may be up for this role!

HOST/PRESENTER - IGN SEA (FULL TIME)

Location: Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; or willing to relocate.

Category: Video Production / Content

Our video and streaming team is expanding rapidly, and we see the future of IGN SEA's video content as being a blend of structured high-production shows, live broadcasts building in audience interaction, and rough and ready video shot on the go.

We want somebody who can do it all.

Responsibilities

The host serves as the primary presenter of news stories and other content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to viewers.
Writes script and delivers contents related to video games, movies, TV, comics and events.
Conducts interviews with game developers, personalities, professional gamers, etc.
Research information and gathering assets for various content productions.
Assists the editor/social media manager to create content for and coordinate the various IGN SEA social media profiles.
Interacts with viewers/users on social media sites.
Assists in the setup of video / streaming content.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

You LOVE games.
Not camera shy.
English must be immaculate.
Be over the age of 18.
Eager to pitch in ideas and stories (and not just waiting for orders).
All candidates must be eligible to work in Malaysia.
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule.
Proficiency with social media, computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
Live hosting experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge on how to handle a video camera will give you bonus points as well.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
