The Loki live-action MCU series coming to Disney+ has been confirmed for a Spring 2021 release window.

Confirmed as part of Marvel Studios' full Phase 4 unveiling, the Loki series will connect the character back to what transpired in Avengers: Endgame, and feature Tom Hiddleston reappearing in his iconic role.

Spoilers for Avengers Endgame follow.

"This series will tell you what happened to Loki right after that," Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige said, after the scene of Loki stealing the Space Stone in Endgame. Feige and Hiddleston, on stage at Marvel's Hall H Comic-Con panel, explained that the Loki in the series isn't necessarily the same Loki we've seen grow and change in Thor: Ragnarok.

"You guys saw Avengers, right? He’s still that guy. The last thing that happened to him was he got Hulk smashed," Hiddelston said on stage.

We got our first look at the Loki series earlier this year. And this Loki series is only one of the many new shows coming to Disney's streaming service, including a series based on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Cassian Andor and K-2S0, and Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian.

Speaking of some of those shows, we did learn roughly when the Falcon and Winter soldier series will arrive, as well as the WandaVision series set after Avengers: Endgame. For more, check out our full breakdown of Marvel's MCU Phase 4 announcements.
