Fans of the highly popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) have likely noticed the game's recent major revamp of its Emblem system. This exciting update offers both seasoned and new players the opportunity to devise innovative and imaginative strategies for their beloved heroes.

The original Emblem Set and Talent system were introduced to offer players a modest enhancement to their heroes' attributes along with inherent effects. Over time, players could upgrade their emblems, giving experienced players a slight advantage over newcomers who had recently joined the game.

However, in a move to make the Emblem system less restrictive, the game's developer company, Moonton, decided it was time for a refreshing change.

Now, players have the freedom to mix and match different Talents and Emblems, allowing them to customize their attributes and elevate their gameplay to new heights.

The revamped system also eliminates the need for players to save up Battle Points (BP) to purchase attributes. Instead, players will receive refunds for their Emblem sets, which can be allocated elsewhere. Additionally, to streamline the process, three Common Emblems—Jungle, Magical, and Physical—have been removed, resulting in a total of six Emblems.

Worried about which Emblem setup to choose? You no longer need to fret, as you can now easily copy the builds of professional players with just one click. Furthermore, heroes with specific build setups can customize their functions accordingly, allowing certain heroes to specialize even further in resource management or DPS (damage per second).

In an exclusive interview with MGO, one of the game's developers explained that the revamp was necessary to address the previous system's cumbersome nature.

One of the key reasons behind this revamp was to provide players with greater flexibility when playing heroes with multiple positions.

According to Moonton, heroes like Granger, who is typically played as a Marksman in the Jungler position, posed a dilemma for players, as they had to choose between the Assassin or Jungler emblem. Moonton wanted to change that.

Now, players have the freedom to choose any emblem they desire, and in theory, heroes like Granger can be played in various positions, including EXP Lane, Mid Lane, or Roamer.

Additionally, Moonton fulfilled a much-anticipated request by introducing a new feature—changing emblems during the draft pick phase. Players can now adjust their emblems after selecting their heroes, just like professional players on the tournament server.

Moonton believes that this revamped emblem system will result in a more balanced gameplay experience, aiming to avoid the dominance of any overpowered emblems in this overhaul.

When questioned about the potential addition of a dash item to aid low-health heroes in escaping from Assassin heroes, Moonton clarified that they did not plan to create such an item. They intended to keep the game simplified, as they believed that introducing these items would complicate the MLBB experience.
