To do so, players must collaborate their hunting party to track and defeat the iconic monstrous machines for glory. Players can discover and trade resources to upgrade their equipment and level up their skills for the final hunt that awaits at the end.
So, while each and every hunter is playing on the same team, the game is ultimately a competition, with players striving to be the best. Only the most cunning and skilful can rise through the ranks to achieve eternal glory.
The massive monsters from the original video game are included in the base Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game package, allowing players to battle against the Sawtooths, Shell-Walkers, and Scrappers.
