The Boys Season 4 is off to a great start, as Prime Video says the show’s premiere viewership increased 21% over Season 3.

The company announced the news today. Though no exact numbers were shared, the growth means Eric Kripke’s superhero series has managed to draw increased audience numbers for three seasons in a row. Amazon also boasts that The Boys Season 4 had the second-highest four-day debut of any returning show’s season, with Reacher Season 2 taking the top spot.

The Boys managed to fly away from its premiere last week with more impressive stats, including that it managed to secure the number one spot on Prime Video for its first four days. Around 60% of those watching were based outside the U.S. with outsized performances in Brazil, the UK, and India.

The Boys Season 4 sees the titular group of hero hunters continuing their mission to uncover grand conspiracies and, hopefully, kill Homelander (Antony Starr). Most major players, like Hughie (Jack Quaid), Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capone), Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara), and more, are back, too.

“In Season Four, the world is on the brink,” an official description says. “Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late."

The Boys will return for Season 5, its final season, sometime in the future. We gave Season 4’s three-episode premiere a 7/10 in our review. We said, “The first three episodes of The Boys Season 4 are a less-than-impressive but still substantial spin on old patterns and dynamics.” A new episode (review here) is out today with more to follow every Thursday until the finale on July 18.
