Transformers: Battlegrounds is the tactical turn-based role-playing game that offers a fresh perspective on the animated series, Transformers: Cyberverse. This incarnation of the franchise has garnered widespread acclaim for its innovative approach to classic characters.

Released in October 2020, Transformers: Battlegrounds features fan-favourite characters such as Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Starscream, and Megatron in their battle for control of the AllSpark through both single-player and co-op gameplay.

The Shattered Spacebridge DLC update is available for purchase to all players who own the base game, offering new maps in the expanded Transformers multiverse and an additional 20 missions to complete.

Taking cues from classic Transformers stories, players will help the Autobots reconstruct the Spacebridge and find their way back to Cybertron as they battle the evil Decepticons along the way.

As a roguelite-based mode, every run through the multiverse presents a unique new challenge. Players will have to do their best to win back the scattered Spacebridge components, help the Autobots recover their lost abilities, and keep their team alive long enough to make it to the end.

While the base campaign mode has players progressing from level to level, Shattered Spacebridge requires players to strategically choose their team, missions, and upgrades to survive and avoid starting over.
